IngSoft InterWatt has a multi-level, multi-client capability. Companies can be created, e.g. under a holding, which in turn contain parts of the company. At these levels, e.g. energy rates, energy sources and persons can be created, who are each visible from below, but not above or in parallel branches. Users generally only see data from the organizational unit, in which they were created.
In addition, there is fine-grained rights management. Rights are granted or revoked for a user in relation to an item and may be inherited "downwards" – this is similar to the Windows File System permissions
